Jobs for women in the modern workplace.

This year, year around the world and especially in the US, there has been a push for women to work in the STEM fields. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, by balancing the gender ratios working in these fields, stereotypes detrimental to the socialisation of young women and society as a whole can be combated. .My question is why is there not a push for more  leadership by women. Most people think that is a formulation of leadership, don’t get me wrong leadership comes in many different forms. Why this there every less of a push for more women to be in board rooms or on capitol hill.

Before researching, this was my theory: our society is caught on the idea that women are emotional when they are passionate and bossy when they are decisive; there is never a perfect female leader. In the critical ‘Barriers and Bias’, they look at how leaders are developed and focus on the discrepancy between women and men.
